Increase production, decrease waste and delay & maximize quality

Production facilities are being asked to do ‘more with less’.  Our various hardware configurations and software suites give critical feedback to operators and management teams to fix the problems faster and get back to being proactive in other performance increasing strategies vs. reactive.

Monitor the performance of all camera assets 24/7

ECS IQ is the app and browser interface that monitors all aspects of system uptime, usability, optimization, break, and wis data.

System Status Dashboard Monitoring

Global view of complete system health with the ability to do a deep dive into problem areas using key indicators - red, yellow, green.

Downtime alerts for key components

Notifications within the dashboard alert and display component downtime. Shows failure timestamps, as well as system uptime % lost.

Camera cleanliness alarm

Set custom thresholds for camera views and receive alerts when change is detected.

User utilization reports

Monitor how well key functions of the camera system are being understood and used by operators.

System Data

View break and defect images and correlate defects to time and manufacturing data to understand the source of defects.

Off-the-shelf hardware

Smart Flex cameras maintain every pixel captured by compressing data before it enters the 1Gb backbone--ensuring that all the pixels make it to your monitors

Smart Flex allows you to review data in extreme resolution with an innovative operator interface, designed to help operators see faster and better than ever

Remove all resolution barriers with Smart Flex without having to update your current infrastucture

ECS Smart Flex uses solid state hardware (FPGA) at the camera to compress before sending the data through the backbone

Current off-the-shelf models can process up to 8 million pixels at 60 FPS and pixel count continues to increase with new technologies

• Use ECS Smart Flex cameras in your current infrastructure alongside your old ones. You can plug any camera standard into one platform

Clarity Beyond Industry Standards

The better the visual data the more information is available to the operator to solve paper machine runnability issues. How do we define resolution and what is more important – the number of pixels or the quality of those pixels? ECS has the experience and resources to deliver the highest quality images in our industry. Resolution is not a simple function of the number pixels but the ways in which the quality of those pixels is maintained. That depends on several factors including camera chip size and sensitivity, type of light used and angle to sheet, shutter speed, depth of field, the amount of artificial gain used, how steam is dealt with and enclosure cleaning technologies.
